Dear Mr Horan,
I had intended to write a proper 'pen and ink' letter but, as the post is, perhaps not unsurprisingly, a little unreliable at the moment then I'm afraid its the rather less personal e-mail.
That said I wanted to say a thank you for the excellent service received from your Company with regard to the tenancy referencing and subsequent move-in to a property in Bentley House in March which was carried out for my son.
Without writing a lengthy essay or going into too many personal details my son had to move out at pretty short notice from his previous address in Burwell because of a break up between him and his partner of some 7 years. Sadly these things happen, not helped by the stress and strains of home working et al during the current pandemic, and as she (his partner) had the lease on the property and wanted to give it back quickly then our son had no option other than move.
Having found a property which looked, and apparently is, absolutely super, he completed all the relevant application paperwork but, because he currently works part time, you, quite understandably, required some guarantee of advance rental payment. This I agreed to do on his behalf but, as by 11 January, our son was living in a hotel there was a degree of urgency to get matters finalised.
I spoke to your property manager, Jaimee Carver, who, despite being on leave promised that she would expedite matters and phone me back - she did! I subsequently needed to speak to your finance department, I think to a lady called Linsey, and again needed a call back to confirm details - which I got! My son was subsequently moved into the property by Megan Sullivan on Wednesday 13th January 2021 and is now happily settled.
The point here is that after a long working career I have too often asked / required various organisations (government and private, both in the UK and abroad) to undertake certain actions and, importantly, to call me back to provide answers and / or an update, and failed to receive them. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted by the response and help which I received from your staff.
Those that I dealt with did your company proud and I'd be grateful if you would pass on my thanks to all concerned.
