Property Manager Feedback

Dear Ms. Finbow-Miller,

 

With this e-mail I would like to send you a review about Ms. Patrica Cheng, one of the OpenArch Property Managers. Patricia asked me to review her service as my property manager during the move-in process on 1A Ditton Walk (Flat 9) in February.

 

First of all, Patricia has been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process of my move into this property! I moved to Cambridge from the Netherlands, which made the whole situation a bit more challenging. This resulted in a lot of email communication between me and Patricia, mainly because I was full of questions. Patricia always answered my questions with patience and in a remarkably quick response time (usually no more than one day maximum). We were able to plan an online viewing of the house, which saved me a flight to Cambridge, and Patricia explained everything very clearly. She left a very reliable impression on me because of her professional attitude and communication. Therefore I felt comfortable signing the tenancy agreement even though I had only seen the apartment online and even though I had to pay 6 months of rent upfront (which was quite daunting). 

Last but not least, Patricia assisted me very correctly this month because the mattress of this apartment was not really in a good shape anymore. She immediately arranged for the replacement of the mattress (still very happy with the new one!). 

 

I honestly cannot think of any negative issues during the period that Patricia helped me with my move. She is a great and very professional Property Manager. This review reflects my gratitude towards her for assisting me the last couple of months, and I truly hope this helps her in her development as a Property Manager with OpenArch.

"It was a pleasure dealing with Patricia as my property manager during the application process. Patricia was very quick to respond to the queries we had throughout the process and invariably came back to us with accurate/useful information.
She did her best to work with us in a constructive way to make sure that the application process would go as smoothly as possible which made the whole process a lot easier to navigate (priceless, especially for a foreign student).

Thank you for the excellent service received

Dear Mr Horan,

 

I had intended to write a proper 'pen and ink' letter but, as the post is, perhaps not unsurprisingly, a little unreliable at the moment then I'm afraid its the rather less personal e-mail.

 
That said I wanted to say a thank you for the excellent service received from your Company with regard to the tenancy referencing and subsequent move-in to a property in Bentley House in March which was carried out for my son.

 

Without writing a lengthy essay or going into too many personal details my son had to move out at pretty short notice from his previous address in Burwell because of a break up between him and his partner of some 7 years. Sadly these things happen, not helped by the stress and strains of home working et al during the current pandemic, and as she (his partner) had the lease on the property and wanted to give it back quickly then our son had no option other than move.

 

Having found a property which looked, and apparently is, absolutely super, he completed all the relevant application paperwork but, because he currently works part time, you, quite understandably, required some guarantee of advance rental payment. This I agreed to do on his behalf but, as by 11 January, our son was living in a hotel there was a degree of urgency to get matters finalised. 

 

I spoke to your property manager, Jaimee Carver, who, despite being on leave promised that she would expedite matters and phone me back - she did! I subsequently needed to speak to your finance department, I think to a lady called Linsey, and again needed a call back to confirm details - which I got! My son was subsequently moved into the property by Megan Sullivan on Wednesday 13th January 2021 and is now happily settled.

 

The point here is that after a long working career I have too often asked / required various organisations (government and private, both in the UK and abroad) to undertake certain actions and, importantly, to call me back to provide answers and / or an update, and failed to receive them. Therefore I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted by the response and help which I received from your staff.

 

Those that I dealt with did your company proud and I'd be grateful if you would pass on my thanks to all concerned.

Renting a property from OpenArch

Dear Sheree,

 

I am writing to you to let you know how pleased I am in renting a property from Open Arch again, but more importantly a property which will be under the control of Robin Speed.

 

I rented a flat in this complex before moving to a private landlord in an idyllic setting in Overstone - sadly, my landlord has sold the property now meaning that I need to find alternative accommodation.

 

I have found in the past that Robin will always comit 100% to his promises, always attend the property on time, sort out any problems quickly and efficiently, but most importantly convey that Open Arch really do care about their tenants.

 

Being in the later years of my life, having that confidence that Open Arch really care for their tenants via Robin's attention to detail means so much to me.

 

I did try looking at other areas covered by Open Arch but found that i did not get the prompt and satisfactory response that I have always had from Robin.

 

In conclusion, I am certain that as my tenancy with Open Arch will be under the direct supervision of Robin that this will be a happy and problem free arrangement.

 

I thank you for your time in reading this mail and trust that my views on both Open Arch and your particular representative, Robin Speed, will be welcomed in the same spirit in which they have been written.

Dear Mr Horan,

 

I am writing a letter of appreciation to commend your employee, Robin Speed. In December 2021, I viewed a flat in Cambridge offered by OpenArch. Although I didn’t need to move immediately, I was curious about what was on the market. Frankly, I’m not certain I would have rented the flat had it not been for Robin’s professionalism.

 

For over thirty years, I have dealt with an assortment of estate agents (both in the United Kingdom and Canada) and, as I told Robin last week, he has been the best estate agent that I’ve ever conducted business with. In my opinion, OpenArch is very lucky to have him as an employee. In my mind, he is everything a good estate agent should be: hardworking, honest, organised, thorough, and a very good communicator.
